A
good arrangement should co-exist in synergy with the song. This is true
for any style.
Concerning
jazz, latin, and other classic styles, one should either stick to original
arranging methods and licks, or one might mix the classic arrangement
with modern loops and/or sounds. In the latter case, rythmic syncronization
and proportions are very important.
Pop arrangements in my view are similar to packages, wrappings around
goods - in this case - songs. The first impression you get is based on
the arrangement, and later if you listen to the single carefully - thus
'unwrap' the good - will you get to know the song itself. It is imperative
to find a distinctive feature for each of your arrangements. This can
be an instrument lick, a specific drum or other sound, etc. This can easily
turn into a very strong feature, and sell a song which would otherwise
stay unnoticed.

Overview
Our
services at ZenePont include songwriting and score composition, arranging
and audio engineering.
Once we're given a specification for an actual project, for example
a band or singer in need of a good tune, we produce the material within
days, and present a preview either as a vocal-piano duo, or with a simple
arrangement that resembles final form. If lyrics are not supplied, then
the songs are delivered with temporary English lyrics.
We
can participate easily in projects abroad thanks to ADSL technology,
facilitating quick and convenient transfer of audio material anywhere
in the world.
